Synopsis:
- A main character is victim to some oppression or threat (by an antagonist), innocence makes conflict unjustified.
- The character feels helpless.
- The character gains some form of telepathic ability (a Third Eye) with which they can hear peoples thoughts and implicate thoughts or visions into people minds.
- Discovering this power, they experiment with it.
- They take revenge on the oppressor.
- The revenge goes to far and the revenge has bad consequences.
- The character is now stuck with this curse of The Third Eye.
A single moment:
- The final moment in which the character realises the significance of their newly-found ability.
How I picture this moment:
- The intimidating male protagonist lies badly injured on the floor, a close up revealing blood around his body.
- Close up on the main characters face to show audience the realisation of the consequences of their actions.
- Quick pans around as a crowd of people gather around the body.
- Sound builds as the character hears the crowds thoughts loudly in their mind, shown by an extreme close up of their eyes.
- Editing speeds up the entire time during this, showing several people in the crowd not talking, therefore showing that it is their thoughts that are being heard.
- Large build of soundtrack for tension.
- Release of tension during long shot, character screams with hands clutched to their head, breathing heavily.
