Short films allow those with absolutely no budget, equipment and experience to create original and innovative ideas, and then translate them into the visual art form. No camera? Shoot on a phone. No editing software? Edit on camera. No crew? Do it yourself! The possibilities are endless, with new fresh minds full of great stories to tell, a few minutes can be all they need to get recognised. Events such as film festivals highlight the reason why film is such a great medium, anyone can pick up the camera and tell a story.
